ARIES AND GOAT

In  Dan 8  describes the following vision of Daniel :

1. Aries, who became a great

2. Goat, which became extremely great

3. Horn, which grew tremendously

4. These authorities will continue 2300 days

 

The interpretation of the Angel Gabriel :

1. Aries means Medo-Persia  (v. 20)

2. Goat is Greece, and big rig - King Alexander the Great (Dan 8.21, 11.23). Four horns is four kingdoms formed after the death of Alexander The Great. After the battle of Ips in the Division of the Empire

Casandr got Greece and Macedonia,

Ptolemy  -  Egypt,

Lezimah  -  most of Asia Minor,

Selevek  -  the entire country from Syria to the Euphrates.

3. Horn, which grew tremendously, means Rome Pagan and Rome Papal (8.9-12) :

- This is the largest of all the kingdoms of the world

- He was after Greece

- He rebelled against the Christ and crucified Him

- He killed the Saints during the period of the papacy

- He threw the truth, Law and Gospel to the Earth
