Before the fall of man God Himself instructed men (Genesis 1.27-28,2.16-18).

After the fall of the Lord chose specific people to teach people about the plan of Salvation :

- The Patriarchs (Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Job)

- The Prophets

- The Priests

- The Apostles

- The Evangelists

"And He put some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some pastors and teachers" (Ephesians 4.11).

 

Signs of faithful teachers:

- they are guided by the Holy Spirit

- they teach according to the word of God

- they teach the PURE Gospel

- they teach obedience to God's Law

- life their will always be in harmony with the teachings

Satan has his teachers, who in various ways are true (false prophets, false teachers and false apostles). They are moved by the spirit lies.

"And, behold, the Lord permitted now spirit deceitful mouth all day thy prophets; but the Lord hath spoken of you unkind" (1 Kings 22.23).

 

Their signs:

- They teach idolatry

- They teach holiness without complying with the Law of God

- They teach about salvation and freedom of the individual in his sins

- They eliminate Saturday of God or replace it by another day

 

= An example of lies:

The verse "which... ye observe days, and months, and times, and years" (Gal 4.9-10) NOT talking about the seventh day; but the daily, weekly, monthly and annual rites.

- THEY TEACH THE PRECEPTS OF HUMAN (INVENTED BY HUMANS) INSTEAD OF GOD.

 

So we ALL have to suffer (check) and keep the good.

God's plan was such that parents were the first teachers of children (Deut  6.7,11.9).

In Israel all had to be able to read and write, there was no illiteracy.

"And write them (Commandments) on the doorposts of your House and on your gates" (Deut 6.9).

In the days of the Kings of all cities were Jewish schools which taught the Princes, priests and prophets. Their main tour was a Torah - law book (2 Par 17.7-9).

High school was the school of the prophets in Israel, founded by Samuel (1 Sam 19.19-20). Her students were called "prophetic sons".

 

After having been destroyed 850 false prophets of Baal and Astartah, Elijah, David made Abner and the school he founded Bethel and Jericho who visited before his Ascension (2 Kings 2.1-11,4.38).

Elisha follows Elijah, becoming warden of these schools (2 Kings 2.15-18).

They studied, in addition to law, how to get the spirit of God and obey Him, as well as music, poetry, and other sciences.

They also engaged in physical labor: built, collected plants and cooked food  (2 Kings 6.1-7,4.38-44).

The spirit of God was present in these schools significantly, particularly in the frame (1 Sam 19.19-24).
