ARIES AND GOAT

 

In  Dan 8  describes the following vision of Daniel:

1. Aries, who became a great

2. Goat, which became extremely great

3. Horn, which grew tremendously

4. These authorities will continue 2300 days

 

The interpretation of the Angel Gabriel:

1. Aries means Medo-Persia  ( v. 20 )

2. Goat is Greece, and big rig - King Alexander the great

( Dan 8.21 , 11.23 ). Four horns is four kingdoms formed after the death of

Alexander The Great. After the battle of Ips in the Division of the Empire

Kasandr got Greece and Macedonia,

Ptolemy  -  Egypt,

Lezimah  -  most of Asia minor,

Selevek  -  the entire country from Syria to the Euphrates.

3. Horn, which grew tremendously, means Rome Pagan and Rome Papal  ( 8.9-12 ):

- This is the largest of all the kingdoms of the world

- He was after Greece

- He rebelled against the Christ and crucified Him

- He killed the Saints during the period of the papacy

- He threw the truth, law and Gospel to the Earth
