THE ISRAEL OF GOD

THE TRUE ISRAEL BEFORE CHRIST

Jacob, whose name means "giving bandwagon, mocked his brother twice and had to leave his house ( Gen 25.29-34, 27.5-29, 33.36, 41-45 ).

But the Lord did not leave it and brought back through 20 years ( Gen 26.10-15, 31.3,41 ).

The first thing he did upon his return is to seek reconciliation with his older brother through gifts ( Gen 32.3-20 ).

Jacob prayed to the Lord and cried in front of Angel  ( Os 12.4-5 ).  He requested the benefit, or the remission of their sins ( Gen 3.24-29, Acts 3.26 ).

Due to the fact that he sought reconciliation with his brother and asked blessing, or the remission of sins, his name was ISRAEL ( Gen 32.28 ).  Consequently, it is the name that the Lord gives all those who seeking reconciliation with all people and forgiveness of their sins.

12 sons of Jacob called Israel, or the sons of Jerusalem ( Ex 1.1-5 ).

But the Lord does not believe Israel all from Israel after the flesh ( Rom 2.28, 9.6-7 ) and only REVIVED people (Rom 2.28- 29, John 1.47 ).

"And the Lord thy God is cropped to your heart and the heart of thy offspring that you loved the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul"  ( Deut 30.6 ).

The law of God is written in the heart of the true Israel  ( Jeremiah 31.33-34 , Isaiah 57 ).

Saturday is a sign between God and those whom God has blessed:

"And let them keep the children of Israel Saturday, celebrating the Sabbath throughout your generations as an eternal Covenant; IT is a SIGN between me and the sons of Jerusalem to the eyelids, so that in six days the Lord made heaven and Earth, and on the seventh day he rested and grounded " ( Exodus 31.16-17 ).

SPIRITUAL ISRAEL

The new Covenant is with Israel: those whose sins have been forgiven and in hearts of which was written by the law of God  ( Jeremiah 31.33-34, Hebrews 8.8-10 ).

But as the people of the Jews rejected Christ and crucified him, the Lord has rejected it and does not believe more people:

"Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, we have no KING but CAESAR" ( John 19. 15 ).

"The Kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation, bringing the fruits of it" ( Matthew 21.43 ).

When a Jew or pagan sincerely addressed to God, he became a member of the true House of Israel in the New Testament  ( Romans 11.11-27, Jeremiah 31.33-34 ).

The conditions of the Jews and pagans observe Saturday, which is the seal of God and the cross.

And in spiritual Israel idolatry means falling away ( Galatians 4.8-9 ).

Only that Israel will be "the holy mountain"  -  in the new Jerusalem ( Revelation 21.12,24 ).

ISRAEL - LIGHT OF THE WORLD

The word of God is like the light, one that highlights the path of life ( Ps 118.105,130 ; 2 Pet 1.13 ).  Believers are called the sons of light and the light of the world  ( 2 Cor 4.6, Eph 5.8, 1 Thess 5.5 ).

God has commanded that the sons of light shone  ( Is 60.1-3, Matt 5.16 ).  He defined

Israel to be a Kingdom of priests, to give the light of truth surrounding peoples ( Ex 19.5-6, Is 42.6, Ps 96.3 ).

The temple was a place of worship for all individuals and peoples, where they had come in for some days ( Is 56.3-7 , 1 King 8.41-43).

When Israel was at the height of his fame, during the reign of Solomon, came to Israel to learn wisdom and knowledge of the representatives of the all people ( 1 King 8.41-43, 10.23-25 ).

From Abraham to Christ of all the surrounding Nations have received the knowledge of the true God and worshipping him from the Israelis.

Spiritual Israel in the New Testament is from God the same purpose: to BE SPIRITUAL TEACHERS, "the pillar and the truth" ( 1 Tim. 3.15 ) and preach the Gospel to the entire world  ( 1 Pet 2.9; Matt 24.14, 28.18-20 ).

THE FIRST GATHERING OF ISRAEL

Israel was diverting the prisoner because it overstepped the law of God, fell into idolatry and rejected the testimony of the prophets.

Pilneser, had probably the King of Assyria, and took hostage two-and-a-half knee in 740 B.C.  ( 2 Kings 15.29, 1 Par 5.26 ).  In 721 B.C., Assyrians took Samaria and took the rest of the ten tribes into captivity ( 2 Kings 17.5-27, 18.9-

12 ).

In 606 B.C., Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem and in 568 B.C. , destroyed it, and thus put an end to the Jewish Kingdom.  From 606 B.C. begins with 70-year-old capture ( 2 Kings 24.1-6, Dan 1.1-3, 2 Par 36.11-17 ).

In all ages the people of Israel were people who did not fall back from the truth; they were called "the rest" ( 1 Kings 19.10,14,18 ; Is 1.9,10.20-22 ; Mih 5.6-7; Rom 11.2-5).

God through the prophets promised the return of Israelis in their country  ( Jer 25.11-12, 29.10 ; Dan 9.1-2,25 ; Is 44. 26-28 ).

Following the Persian Kings allowed and helped them to return and rebuild Jerusalem:

Cyrus  -  537  B.C.

Darius  -  519  B.C.

ARTAXERXES  -  457  B.C.

At the time of initiation were brought sacrifices for each of the 12 tribes of the dock called that from each tribe, were representatives of the initiation ( Ezra 6.14-22, 8.35 ; Neh 7.73 ).

It was the first gathering of the remainder of Israel faithful in captivity.

THE SECOND GATHERING OF ISRAEL

After the crucifixion of Christ, the Jews have been rejected by God as his people.

In 70 A.D. , Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans and Jews in fulfillment of prophecy was scattered over all peoples. "And the Lord shall scatter thee..." ( Deut 28.64 - conditional prophecy ).

After the Jews rejected Christ, the Gospel was preached to pagans, who took it with joy ( Acts 13.45-48, 15.3,7,12-

19 ). Faces of the Gentiles were welcomed as the true Israel of God ( Acts 15.7-11 ; Rom 2.28-29, 11.11-26 ; Eph 2.18-19 ).

Matthias replacing Israel (Jews and others) through faith in Christ and revival can be adopted AGAIN in the number of true Israel of God ( Rom 11.1,23-24 ; 2 Cor 3.15-16 ). Non-believers are Jews (fleshly) does not accept the Gospel of Christ, NOT CONSIDERED to BE children of God and are not among the true Israel ( John 6.39,44 ; Rom 2.28, 9. 6-8 ).

“144000”  (symbolic number)  -  this is the CHRISTIANS, because they were "slaves of God" and "follow the Lamb"

( Rev 7.1-4, 14.15 ).

Thus, the whole of Israel (Jews and Gentiles) WILL SAVED ( Rom 11.23-27, Matt 23.29 ). Spiritual Israel, faithful to God in the New Testament is called "the rest" ( Rome 9.27-29,11.2-5 ; Rev 12.17 ).

The Scriptures teach that will be the SECOND GATHERING of the true Israel of God ( Is 11.1, Mih 4.6-8, Sof 3.10-

20 ).

It will be held in the FIRST RESURRECTION, when the righteous dead live will be collected at the second coming (1 Thess 4.11-17, Matt 24.31, Ezekiel 37.12-18, Mih 4.6-8 ). They will go where Christ will prepare them ( John 14.1-3,  Thess 4.14-18 ).

THE FIRST MAJOR TESTAMENT COMMANDED

The ten commandments are called the law of God, and “commanded testament" :

- because commanded by God

- because it contains a promise for meek and punishment for disobedient

- because he was the reason all the other covenants between God and his people

All violating commanded law subject to damnation, which is written in the law of Moses ( Deut 27.28, Jer 14.3-5, Gal 3.12-14, Dan 9.11 ).

God's plan for salvation lay people after the flood, is called:

 -  "A Covenant of life and peace, because through it the man comes to terms with the God and escapes ( Mal 2.5-6 ; Rom 5.1-2,10 ).

-  "My testament", because through it the Lord takes away the sins of the man ( Rom11.27, Heb 10.16-17 ).

Although this promise has its origins from the fall of man, yet he is rightly referred to as the New Testament, because it was approved by the blood of Christ for many years after the first (old) Testament was fixed to the blood  ( Ex 24.

7-8,  Jer 31.31-34,  Heb 9.15-20 ).

Covenant of peace, or the New Testament, concluded:

-  Faith in” the seed of the woman ", or in Christ  ( Gen 3.15, 17.7-10;  Gal 3.16;  John 3.16 )

-  The law, written in the hearts of all the Covenant  ( Jer 31.33-34, 2 Cor 3.3 )

-  The promise of the land of Canaan ( Gen 12.1-2, 15.18-21;  Ex 6.4-8;  Nav 21.43-45 )

-  The PROMISE of a NEW LAND ( Rom 4.13, 2 Pet 3.13 )

THE FIRST COVENANT WITH ISRAEL

God made a Covenant with Israel at Horeb  -  the Covenant that he made with his father: "the Lord our God has set us a testament to Horeb; not with our fathers put Lord Covenant, but with us here today, alive ( Deut 5.2-3 ).

The conditions were as follows:

- Israel must be the voice of God: to obey the law, that said by His voice ( Ex 19.5, Deut 4.12-13, Ex 20.1-17 )

- He had to maintain a Covenant-Covenant of peace, which is the sin of the human century ( Ex 19.5, Rom 11.27 )

God has promised that Israel will be a Kingdom of priests and a Holy nation ( Ex 19.6 ).  Israel promised to respect it  ( Ex 19.7-8 ).

After God gave the ten commandments and statutes, that bequeathed in  Exodus 20.18-26  and chapters  21-22-23, they were given to Moses, who said them out loud, and Israel again promised to perform them  ( Ex 24.3 ).

All but the Ten Commandments (in stone), was recorded in a book and is read through to Israel, and when the latter agreed to all this, the Covenant was signed and affixed with blood ( Ex 24.4-8, Heb 9.18-20 ).

Most of Israel entered into this Covenant as non-turned, because of this he has become a burden and yoke, and they soon had violated it, have given way to idolatry  ( Gal 4.24, Jer 31.31-34, Ex 32.1-8 ).

Therefore God promised a new Covenant with Israel ( Jeremiah 31.31-34 ).

THE NEW TESTAMENT

God gave the promise of the New Testament, because the old testament has been violated.

He was on the best terms:

1.  Treatment  -  < sin is forgiven and forgotten >  ( Jer 31.32 , Heb 8.10 , Acts 3.19 )

2.  Writing the law in the heart

ALL HAVE RECEIVED THE REMISSION OF SIN WILL KNOW THE LORD. THEY ARE HIS SUBJECTS, AND HE WILL BE THEIR KING.

Christ and the Apostles taught the principles of the New Testament  ( Dan 9.27, Heb 2.3 ).

Formally, this Covenant was signed when the Lord's Supper  ( Matt 26.26-28 , Mark 14.22-24 ) , and confirmed the death of Christ on the cross, so that IT CANNOT BE ABOLISHED ( Heb 9.15-17, Gal 3.15 ).

It follows that YOU CANNOT CHANGE ANYTHING of what CHRIST TAUGHT UNTIL HIS DEATH ( Galatians 3.15 ).

The teachings of the New Testament include:

LAW and SATURDAY, the reference,  baptism,  ablution of foots and Lord's Supper,  as well as the tithe ( Matt 5.17-19 , Mark 2.27-28 , Matt 26.19-20 , John 13.1-17 , Matt 23.23 ).

Observance of Sunday  ( the first day of the week )  is NOT the TEACHINGS of the NEW TESTAMENT, as commissioned after the death of Christ and contrary to his teachings  ( Hebrews 9.15-17, Galatians 3.15 ).

Only addressed and comply with the law will be saved  ( Revelation 14.12 , Jeremiah 31.31-34 ).

THEOCRACY IN ISRAEL

THEOCRACY is Kingdom, directly controlled by God himself.  She was in Israel in the Old Testament time.

Israel became theocracy, agreeing to obey God in everything, and having him as their ruler ( Exodus 19.5-8, 24.3-8 ).

The constitutive law has been spoken to by God. Other laws He gave to Moses, who wrote the book for Israel. These laws and established his rule.

God, being the Supreme ruler, Himself appointed subordinate It employees - Moses, Joshua, priests, etc.

Sometimes He opened his will through PROPHETS ( Amos 3.7 ) or through the Urim and Thummim:

"And will he turn to Eleazar the priest and asking him about the decision by six before the Lord; and by his word should go, and by his word should be he (Joshua) and all the children of Israel" ( Num 27.21 ).

"O Lord God Of Israel! Unlock thy servant. And the Lord said: come " ( 1 Sam 23.11 ).

In the days of Samuel Lord, pursuant to the will of the people, and gave them the King, but still

He continued to manage Israel, as before, through his servants the prophets  ( 1 Sam 8.10 , Am 3.7 ).

Theocracy actually ended when the Jews, claiming that their leader was not Christ and the Roman Caesar finally crucified him, its true ruler  ( John 19.15 ).

Since Israel rejected its King - Christ, and God rejected them as his people ( Matthew 21.43 ).  This ended the world's only theocracy.

THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE

Christ taught the principle of separation of Church and State: a cesarean - to Caesar ( temporal power ), and of God -God ( the head of the true Church is Christ )  -  Col 1.18 , Mt 23-22 .

The Church should never resort to secular authorities, as:

1. Jesus said that his Kingdom is not of this world, and that is why His servants didn't battle for Him that He was not betrayed to the Jews ( John 18.36 ):  "If the world This was My Kingdom, My servants would have toiled for me so I will not was betrayed by the Jews ".

2. He rebuked Peter for having wanted to protect his sword  ( Matt 26.47-53 , John 18.10-11 ).

3. He also denounced his disciples, when they wanted to bring light to the Samaritans and destroy them because they did not want to accept Christ ( Luke 9.51-56 ).

4. A proverb about the tares He taught that believers must not destroy the wicked ( Matt 13.24-30,36-42 ).

The Scriptures teach that all are obliged to obey the temporal power ( Matt 22.21, Rom 13.1-7, Jer 27.6-9 ).

However, we must LISTEN TO GOD MORE THAN MAN, if secular law is contrary to God ( Acts 4.19, 5.29 ).

The secular power should not interfere in the Affairs of the Church and break the commandments, as can be seen from the following:

1. God has saved Daniel's companions, who, being faithful to God, not worshipped the Golden image.

2. Daniel was spared from the ditch where the lion was cast for continued pray to God, not to the King ( and preached the Gospel ).

3. Peter was spared from prison, where he was cast for what he preached Of Christ.

Secular authority HAS NOT THE RIGHT to force to comply the first 4 commandments, since the worship of God is spiritual ( Rom 7.14, John 4.24 ).

It CAN to force to comply and ensure respect the last 6 commandments, as they relate to thoughts and intentions about which man cannot judge ( Ex 10.17, 1 John 3.15, Matt 5.27-28 ).

The secular power is appointed by God and therefore publishes laws, protects the freedom of life, property, collection of taxes, etc.

These laws must be obeyed  ( Matt 22.11, Rom 13.1-7, 1 Pet 2.13-14) .

Christians should pray for the heads  (1 Tim 2.1-2).

The Gospel is the power of God. It does not need the support of temporal power ( Rom 1.16-17 ).
