   "Smile" is a song based on the instrumental theme of Charlie Chaplin's New Times 1936. Chaplin wrote a melody, and John Tjerner and Jeffrey Parsons added the text and the name to 1954. In the song, the singer encourages the listener to be resilient as there is hope for a bright tomorrow if you smile.

    The song was first performed by Nat King Cole.

Чаплин сочинил мелодию, а Джон Тэрнер и Джеффри Парсонс добавили текст и название в 1954г. В песне певец призывает слушателя не унывать поскольку есть надежда на светлое завтра, если будешь улыбаться.
