"There is no hell": the Pope puzzled Catholics with a contradictory statement.


Pope Francis has said that hell does not exist. The souls of those who have not accepted repentance simply disappear into oblivion. The pontiff said this in an interview with the newspaper La Repubblica.

"Those who repent receive forgiveness from God. Some cannot receive forgiveness of sins and simply disappear. Hell doesn't exist".

Закон Божий незмінний.

Люди не мають права переглядати його.
«Не додавайте до того, що я наказую вам, і не відніимаййте від того; дотримуйтесь заповідей Господа Бога вашого, які я заповідую» - сказав Мойсей у Повторенні Закону.

Христос підтвердив ці слова (Матв 5.17-19, Лука 16.17).

Апостол Павло сказав:

There is no fundamental difference between a dolphin and a butterfly. A dolphin can never behave like a butterfly, and a butterfly cannot behave like a dolphin.

However, a dolphin can behave like a dolphin only as long as it is alive. However, a person is also a person, only as long as he is alive.

The Bible teaches that there is NO conscious state in death. The fact that a person is like God DOES NOT MEAN that he is immortal, because a person is not omnipotent and does not know everything.

Death is a state when a man, like any animal by himself, is not able to be a man. The afterlife is a pagan teaching and has nothing to do with the Bible! The doctrine of eternal torment denigrates God and perverts His character. Death is dreamless sleep, during which time does not flow, and the resurrection of the dead is awakening from sleep. This is what Jesus Christ himself taught (read the Gospel of John, where the resurrection of Lazarus is described)!

ЗАКОН ДЛЯ ВСIХ

Гріх є беззаконня, тобто порушення його (1 Іван 3.4).
Гріх не ставиться за провину там, де немає закону (Рим 3.23). Отже, скрізь, де є гріх, існує моральний закон, обов'язковий для всіх.

Оскільки гріх зарахований ВСІМ ЛЮДЯМ після гріхопадіння, то і ЗАКОН ОБОВ'ЯЗКОВИЙ для всіх людей до цього дня.

Закон Божий існував ще до виходу з Єгипту:
«За те, що Авраам послухався Мого голосу і дотримувався, що Мною заповідано було дотримуватися: накази Мої, устави Мої і закони Мої» (Бут 26.5).

Закон однаковий для всіх націй, тому що: «Бо ми вже довели, що як юдеї, так і елліни, всі під гріхом, як написано: «Немає жодного праведного...» (Рим 3.9-10).

Дотримуватися слід усіх заповідей БЕЗ ВИКЛЮЧЕННЯ. «Хто дотримується всього закону і згрішить в чомусь одному, той стає винен у всьому» (Як 2.1).

Усі повинні поклонятися Богові в одній святині в той самий суботній день: «І синів чужинців, що приєдналися до Господа, щоб служити Йому і любити Ім'я Господа, бути рабами Його, ВСІХ ЗБЕРІГАЮЧИХ СУБОТУ ВІД ОБГАДНЕННЯ ЇЇ І ТВЕРДО ТРИМАЮЧИХ» - Iс 56.6).

There are tens and even hundreds of versions of the famous "number of the beast". To whom it was not just attributed.
Many Christians in the Middle Ages (the so-called "heretics" could have been Albigensians, Huguenots, and many others), and after Luther, and now associate this number with the papal throne. This is confirmed by the fact that only he is suitable for the following five signs from the 13th chapter of the book of Revelation:

1. He received power from the dragon, that is, pagan Rome v. 2

Seventh-day Adventists usually call the number 666 the sixth sign. But, as it turns out, this number refers not only to the Pope, but to anyone who does the evil will of the devil, if he does not want to know God or thinks that he serves God, but His commandments does not comply. That is why the number 666 is not mentioned immediately after the description of the first beast, but only between the second beast (USA and Protestantism) and those who have the seal of God - "144000", who fulfilled EVERYTHING that God commanded.

If the seal of God is associated with the character of Christ and with the observance of the Sabbath - the true day of worship following the example of Christ Himself (Luke 4.16), then all other people - wicked or those who formally believe in Christ, but do not accept sound biblical teaching - have the seal of the beast. The prophecy says that the first beast will resort to the help of the second: again, as in the Middle Ages, religious power will rely on the power of the state and power structures (police, army, special services). But those who have the seal of God will not worship them, but only everyone else will receive the mark of the beast.
Between Saturday and false Saturday (Sunday), on the one hand, and the number 666, there is only an indirect connection only in the sense that apostates follow tradition instead of a commandment, and this is devilry. The very top of the church admits that the Sabbath in the Bible is not changed, and they themselves made it their own authority:
“The Catholic Church, by its divine authority, has moved the Sabbath celebration to the first day of the week” (The Catholic Mirror, September 23, 1893).

Solomon fell because he neglected the command from the Law - Deut 17.14-20 - not to walk in the promised land according to the customs of the Gentiles, especially not to multiply the number of wives - verse 17.
This can happen to a person if he relies only on himself. 666 is to some extent a symbol of a person who relies only on his own wisdom, abilities and talents. BUT IT'S NOT ENOUGH, to be right before God, you also need the light and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
By the way, the number 6 is mentioned in Dan 3.1 - the height of the golden idol is 60 cubits, the width is 6 cubits, and it was installed by King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon.
And we have no right to worship any idols, idols and icons, this is against God. It is our duty to refuse this in good conscience, even if we are threatened with death, like three young men. THE ENEMY MAY KILL US, BUT WILL NOT TAKE THE SAVING OF THE SOUL FROM US. We have no right to bow to the beast and depart from the truth, either on pain of losing our earnings, or on pain of death, BECAUSE WE BELONG TO GOD. Why are there three sixes?

If for some reason they are still in churches and religions with wrong doctrines, then they will hear the call to leave Babylon, that is, from there (Rev 18.4), and join the so-called remnant church that keeps God's commandment (Rev 12.17).

Закон Божий (десятислів'я) виданий, вимовлений і написаний Тим, Хто виводив Ізраїль з Єгипту, і це Христос.
Закон Божий заснований на особистості Бога і є одкровення Його характеру: праведності ( Пс 145.17 і Пс 119.172), святості ( Лев 11.44 і Рим 7.12), істинності ( Пс 31.6 і Мал 2.6), миру ( Іван 16.33 і Пс 119.165), духовності ( Іван 4.24 і Пс 111.7-8), незмінності (Мал 3.6 і Пс 111.7-8), досконалості (Матв 5.48 і Пс 19.8), ЛЮБОВI (1 Іван 4.8 та Матв 22.36-40). Як бачите, і Бог, і закон мають ті ж самі властивості !
Послух цьому закону розвиває незмінний характер, згідний з волею Божою та Його характером.

1 Tim 3.1 - "The word is true: if anyone desires a bishopric, he desires a good deed".
Jer 45.5 - "But you ask yourself great things: do not ask".
James 3.1-2 - “Do not many become teachers, knowing that we will more condemnation, for we all sin a lot".

In the ministry of the spiritual leader of the Christian church, the striving for power and career CANNOT BE A PLACE. Not a person should look for a place, but a place for a person, because God Himself, who created a person, knows in the best way his abilities and talents.
A selfish person cannot hold a responsible office in the church. The text "1 Tim 3.1" was written in the 1st century, when they persecuted the church and, above all, the bishops (that is, elders or pastors, they are one and the same); leadership, did not want to. Moreover, even being a Christian in that and in the next two centuries was dangerous from the very first day, therefore in the church immediately after the death of the apostles there were only truly believers and principled, and not random people.
Usually, spiritual ministry does not bring honor, but, on the contrary, responsibility and problems (unlike the ministers of state churches, these churches have deviated from the truth for good relations with the authorities, this is not about them). Patience and work are the daily circumstances of the life of a church leader, a leader of a community, and especially a high-ranking official.
It is necessary to understand that a privilege is not a position of a leader, BUT SERVICE TO GOD IN this or any other capacity!

Jeremiah, speaking of “great”, warns Baruch not against ambition as such, but against “great for himself” (his motivating reasons - Jer 45.4-5).
Jesus taught that a leader is not a master but a servant of others (Mark 10.42-44). He can also suffer for others, like Christ the Head of the Church (Mark 10.33-34).
But His disciples wanted glory instead — an honorable crown instead of a crown of thorns (v. 37). Then Christ reminded them of His mission and responsibility: "Can you drink the cup that I am drinking?" (Article 38). He said that the leaders are those "for whom it is prepared" (v. 40), that is, THOSE WHO HAVE PREPARED THEMSELVES TO BE SERVANTS LIKE CHRIST (Mark 10.45, Luke 22.27).
Remember that ambition is the root of all evil and the beginning of sin in the universe (Lucifer, who wished to be like God and became the devil and Satan).

It was sin that demanded the death of Christ on the cross.

Because we, the children of Adam, wanted to become big, He became small.
Because we did not want to humiliate ourselves, He humiliated ourselves.
Because we wanted to rule, He became a servant.

Як тільки Христос прийшов на землю, сатана відразу почав протистояти Йому, сподіваючись здобути над Ним перемогу, коли Він був у тілі людини:

- Він спокушав Христа до гріха, але не встиг у цьому
- Він намагався ввести Христа в гріх через невіруючих і фарисеїв та інших, тих, хто спокушав Його, і таким чином зробити невдалою місію Христа, але не мав успіху в цьому
- Він надихав своїх слуг зрадити Христа і розіп'яти Його, а потім спокушати Його зійти з хреста, але не вийшло

ВЕЛИКА БОРОТЬБА

Ця велика і довга боротьба почалася на небі між Михаїлом (Христом) та Люцифером, який є дракон, диявол і сатана (Об'явл 12.7-8).

Сатана спочатку, хоч і був істотою досконалою і святою, херувимом, що осіняє («Як впав ти з неба, Денниця, син зорі!» (Іс 14.14)), але все ж таки істотою створеною і тому підпорядкованою Закону Творця.
Коли Люцифер почав повставати проти Бога, Христос і Його ангели, сподіваючись врятувати його, радили йому підкоритися Божому правлінню. «Ось Він... і в своїх ангелах вбачає недоліки» (Йов 4.18). Але Люцифер не скорився. Настало його відкрите повстання, і його вигнали з неба.
«Бо, якщо Бог ангелів грішних не пощадив, але, зв'язавши узами пекельного мороку, зрадив до суду для покарання… то, звісно, знає Господь, як рятувати благочестивих від спокуси» (2 Пет 2.4,9).
«І ангелів, які не зберегли своєї гідності, але залишили своє житло, дотримує у вічних кайданах, під мороком, на суд великого дня» ( Юда 6).
Всі зусилля були докладені для того, щоб переконати Люцифера в помилці. Було оголошено, що його неприязнь до Бога є безпричинною, і вказані наслідки непокори. LIE OF PSEUDO-SCIENTISTS AND ANTI-SEMITES

The so-called scientists, scolding religious leaders and creationists, show themselves to be a kind of obscurantist and dogmatist. All "Jewish traces" found by archaeologists are stubbornly ignored, called artifacts, that is, false finds and conclusions. For some reason, only a few Assyrian and Babylonian finds with written sources of information are recognized as genuine, although not only this is found in writing, for example, inscriptions on old coins.

Taking advantage of the fact that Jerusalem was twice burned, destroyed and even plowed - under Nebuchadnezzar and under the Roman Titus - despite the confirmation of the biblical chronicles, they undertake to assert that something similar happened (meaning the kingdoms of David and Solomon), but much later on several centuries. There is no evidence for this. Like evolutionists, they once decided without any arguments and stubbornly reject everything else and plug their ears, responding to the new arguments with one favorite phrase "This is not proof!". Hence their inventions that the Old Testament Scriptures are later, that they consist of several parts, and the like. As well as fantasies about Judea during the time of Christ and inventions about the first Christians.


The purpose of these deluded people, who deceive themselves and the same militant atheists, is meaningless in essence and there is only one - to justify their vicious lifestyle and not to lose earnings and prestige. These people have their own hierarchy and false authorities, and they like to repeat: "Do not be afraid, because there is apparently no God, and you can do whatever you want without fear of punishment."

But the worst thing is that these theories are used by villains who have already plunged humanity into conflicts, revolutions (French and October coups) and wars and can do it again. The result is millions of victims.

All this can also be used by anti-Semites, haters of the Jewish people, and others like them staged the Holocaust, and now some, despite the fact that the events are recent, also have the audacity to declare that it never happened. If, according to these wild "theories", there was no Jewish state, then, as the leaders of the Palestinian Arabs declare, who came to the holy land simultaneously with Jewish settlers in the nineteenth century from neighboring countries and at the same time lie that they had already lived here for fifteen hundred years, they (the Jews) have no right to live here, they are occupiers and must get out of this land.

These pseudoscientists and fanatical supporters of their own fantasies do not even realize that religious Muslim radicals, who are already destroying immediately all discovered archaeological evidence in favor of the Jews in the parts of the West Bank under their control, can always take more radical measures. And this means that the scum with weapons in their hands will decide on another act of violence in addition to the wars and terrorist attacks that have already taken place.

ЄДИНИЙ СПАСИТЕЛЬ

Ніхто, крім Христа - Творця і Законодавця і, отже, більшого, ніж усі створені істоти, не зміг би спокутувати світ. «Бо немає іншого імені під небом, даного людям, яким слід було б врятуватися» (Дії 4.12).

Нескінченна любов Отця і Сина спонукала принести цю велику жертву.
«БО ТАК ПОЛЮБИВ БОГ СВІТ, ЩО ВІДДАВ СИНА СВОГО ЄДИНОРОДНОГО, ДАБИ ВСЯКИЙ, ЩО ВІРУЄ В НЬОГО, НЕ ЗГИБ, АЛЕ МАВ ЖИТТЯ ВІЧНЕ» (Іван 3.16).


Для виконання плану спасіння Христос прийняв тіло і підкорився закону, як людина. Він підкорився закону замість грішника. Він помер за грішників.

Він обіцяв усіх грішників, які каються, примирити з Отцем і, простивши їм їхній гріх, виправдати їх перед Богом, АЛЕ ТІЛЬКИ БЛАГОДІСТЮ ЧЕРЕЗ ВІРУ. При цьому порятунок обіцяли людині за умови, що він перестане порушувати закон, тобто не буде грішити.


План порятунку мав глибокий намір.

Не тільки для того одного Христос зійшов на землю, щоб населення цього маленького світу вшанувало Закон, але ЩОБ ХАРАКТЕР БОЖИЙ БУВ ВИПРАВДАНИЙ ПЕРЕД УСІМ ВСЕСВІТОМ.

ЗАСТУПНИК

Крім затвердження Христом закону і небесного правління, НЕОБХІДНО БУЛО ЩЕ ЗНАЙТИ МОЖЛИВІСТЬ ПРОСТИТИ І ПРИМИРИТИ З БОГОМ ПОВСТАЛИХ ПІДДАНИХ.
План прощення грішника і примирення його з Богом не повинен був допустити усунення закону та його покарання, бо це підтвердило б, що грішник або повсталий проти закону та правління Божого правий. Грішник міг би бути прощений тільки на тій умові, ЯКЩО ВЕЛИЧ ЗАКОНУ І ПОКАРА ЗА ПОРУШЕННЯ ЙОГО ЗАЛИШАЮТЬСЯ В ПОВНІЙ СИЛІ.

План порятунку грішника благодаттю, не позбавляючий закону величі і не послаблюючи покарання за порушення його, повинен заключати в собі таке:
1. Добровільний заступник, який не підлягає закону, вартий більше, ніж ВСІ ГРІШНИКИ, МАЄ ЗАНЯТИ МІСЦЕ ЗЛОЧИННИКА, підкоритися закону та тоді запропонувати грішникові свою праведність (послух) замість його гріха (неслухняності), взявши цей гріх.
2. ВІН ПОВИНЕН ПОМЕРТИ замість грішника для того, щоб той міг жити.
3. Нарешті, грішник отримує прощення, але тільки ЗА УМОВИ РАСКАЯННЯ в своїх гріхах і НАМІРУ БІЛЬШЕ НЕ ПОРУШУВАТИ БОЖИЙ ЗАКОН.

«Не знавши гріха, Він став для нас жертвою за гріх, щоб ми в Ньому стали праведними перед Богом» (2 Кор 5.1).
Грішник повинен ДОЗВОЛИТИ Богу написати цей закон у свому серці та обіцяти за допомогою Божою у все подальше життя підкорятися Йому. «Вкладу закон Мій у нутро їх та на серцях їх напишу його, і буду їм Богом, а вони будуть Моїм народом» (Єр 31.33).

Ангел не може бути таким заступником для занепалого світу, тому що він створена істота і підкоряється закону заради самого себе. Крім того, ангел менш цінний, ніж увесь світ, що загинув у гріхах, і тому він не міг стати рятівником людини.

HOUSE ON A STONE AND HOUSE ON A ROCK

As an example, it cites a hardworking ant who works himself voluntarily, even though there is no overseer with a whip over him.

The second version is atheism. For an atheist with his false ideas, the meaning of life turns into zero and nothing. The result of this idea is 73 years of Soviet power and an ugly system, elements of which have survived to this day. The logical consequence of the idea that there is no God is to live as you want for your own pleasure and do not think about the future, since everything is the end anyway.

The same can be said for theories of evolution about things that arose naturally and by accident. These "sciences" are built on false assumptions that are refuted by life itself, in contrast to the idea of creation, which has found full confirmation today, and archaeological evidence in favor of the Bible, not to mention the fact that God really helps people and their lives are changing thanks to Him for the better. As for the false theories, they are like a skyscraper built without a foundation or on a rotten and dilapidated foundation. Such a building will not withstand and sooner or later it will still collapse with a crash.


And, finally, the third version is faith (not a rejection of it), but only formal from some ceremonies and rituals, or only in words, when a person hears the word of God and loves to talk and speculate about it, but does not observe anything of this. Such a person is also expected to be shipwrecked in faith and a fiasco.

ONLY THE ONE WHO WORKS ON IMPROVING HIS CHARACTER, DOES GOOD DEEDS AND WORKS DIDLY, WILL HAVE SUCCESS, WILL IMPROVE RELATIONSHIPS IN THE FAMILY AND HEALTHY WE HAVE YOURSELF. And the course of life of this person and God - the source of his strength - will become the very rock that will not shake and withstand any storm, any difficulties in life, will make him a winner.

So, for this you need:
- not be passive
- not be overconfident
- to be a man of action, not of words

ПРАВДА

Оскільки Отець і Син єдині у творінні цього світу, вони єдині й у правлінні.
Христос, як Творець, має повне право видати закон, який насправді і дав ним, бо Він сказав і написав його.
«І всі пили одне й те духовне пиття: бо пили з духовного наступного каменю; камінь же був Христос» (1 Кор 10.4). Камінь - це закон написаний.
Як Творець, Він був вищий за закон, не підпорядкований закону (на відміну від творінь).

Але для переконання в Своєї справедливості, Отець і Син з'єдналися у плані викриття звинувачень сатани проти Божого закону та Його правління:
1.Син прийняв «насіння Авраамове» (Євр 2.16), став тілом і подібним до плоті гріховний народився «від діви» через непорочне зачаття божественним втручанням: «Се, діва в утробі прийме» (Іс 7.14). І прийняв образ раба.
2.Він залишив Свою божественність і став слабкою людською істотою: «Син нічого не може чинити Сам від Себе» (Іван 5.19). Він нічого не міг робити Сам по Собі, але зміцнюваний Отцем через Духа, Він робив все і цим довів, що звинувачення сатани немає підстав.
3.Він на кшталт гріховної плоті протистояв будь-якій спокусі до гріха. ВІН ВИКОНАВ ЗАКОН у всій його повноті.
«Якщо заповіді Мої дотримуєтеся, будете в любові Моїй, як і Я дотримався заповіді Мого Отця і буду в Його любові» (Іван 15.10).
4.Після цього Христос, хоч і був без гріха, зазнав покарання закону - смерть (Рим 6.23). Звинувачення сатани, що покарання за порушення закону несправедливо, було спростовано, коли Сам Христос охоче постраждав і зазнав цього покарання замість грішника.
«Ось Агнець Божий, Який бере на себе гріх світу» (Іван 1.29). Тобто бере на себе покарання за гріх.

БОГ НЕ МIГ ВИПРАВДАТИ І ЗАХИСТИТИ СВОЄ ПРАВЛІННЯ, ЗМІНИВШИ ЗАКОН ЧИ ВИДАВШИ ІНШИЙ, БО ЦЕ Б УКАЗУВАЛО НА ПРАВОТУ САТАНИ В ТОМУ, ЩО БОГ НЕДОСТАНОВИЙ І НЕПРАВИЙ.

Наступний план виправдав би Божий характер:
1. Законодавець (правитель) робиться підлеглим.
2. Він виконує Закон у всіх деталях, і цим показує, що Він не вимагає від своїх підданих підкорення закону, якому Він Сам не підкорявся б у подібних обставинах.
3. Будучи Сам не винним, ВІН ПРИЙМАЄ НА СЕБЕ покарання закону, як злочинець, цим показуючи всім інтелектуальним істотам, що Він не карає злочинця більше, ніж він Сам готовий страждати при таких же обставинах.
4. І, нарешті, ВІН ПРОЩАЄ ЗЛОЧИННИКІВ, які каються, та примиряє їх із правлінням за умови, що вони більше не порушуватимуть Закон, але будуть його виконувати.

Такий план переконав би усіх, що Правитель всесвіту справедливий і чинить милість не лише до вірних підданих, а й до невірних.
Він гідний як Цар мати підданих і цим спростовує обвинувача.

We, Christians, creationists and supporters of the idea of the existence of the Creator, are not accidentally standing on our positions. Theoretical scientists, as they call themselves, have repeatedly confirmed their bad reputation with their incorrect calculations - astronomers, physicists, geologists, biologists, and also historians. A good argument in favor of this is that the early history of ancient Egypt, as it was composed, consists of dates and not only of solid fantasies. Errors are possible and obvious, especially when it turned out that they were discovered even in the events of 700-800 years ago.

The states of the ancient world are a mystery to everyone. Until now, no one can explain where, after the primitive tools of labor of primitive society, almost modern surgical instruments suddenly appear in ancient Egypt?

We know that the post-Flood history (and very few people deny the flood itself, too many traces - alluvial and flooded buildings were found) is about 4500 years old - 2500 years before Christ and 2000 after, new finds, for example, on Mount Ararat, confirm this ... It is this approximate age that the most ancient written sources have, but, nevertheless, for some reason, periods much longer in time appeared in the history of Egypt and other ancient countries. But can you trust them?

There were some adventures here. So, in museums, only a part of the exhibits are on display in the halls, and what does not correspond and what these scientists do not need for people to see, lies in the storerooms and is not shown to anyone.

The emergence of the ancient Egyptian state, the capital Memphis and the so-called I dynasty of pharaohs (Narmer), scientists date differently, from 4000 to 3000 BC. , or the so-called "Bronze Age". The discrepancies are huge, there is little written evidence, for example, the Palermo stone, where the I dynasty and the unification of the northern and southern kingdoms are mentioned, a little older than 4000 years (about 2200 BC, that is, much later than the events described). Inaccuracies could creep into the translation, and in addition, when there are not enough records, a dubious radiocarbon method is used for dating, where there are more unknowns in the systems of equations than the equations themselves.

Nevertheless, they establish the exact years of the reign of the pharaohs (and there are discrepancies, as in astronomy, for example, too - according to parallaxes, some scientists say that the North Star is 300 light years away, while others claim that it is 400), and "white spots" fill out of my head. On the first unverified and unproven thesis, taken as a dogma, then all the rest are strung.

The same is the situation with Pharaoh Djoser, the first in the III dynasty. It was once believed that he lived 3000 BC, and now they have about 2700.

Like the creators of this "chronology", Lyell once did - he took several fossils of mollusks, arranged them as he wanted, and invented linden ages.

Something for Egyptian history is taken from Herodotus, but where is the guarantee that his works completely reliable? After all, as it turned out now, the Greco-Roman civilization knew very little about the Egyptian and Babylonian!

The exact dating is impossible due to the fact that the ancient world did not know a single chronology, but only a relative one, where the years were counted according to the reign of the kings, and with the death of the monarch a new reckoning of years began.

Nevertheless, thanks to written sources, as well as archaeological research and found objects, we know much more about the later period of Egyptian history, for example, that Moses (Mousos) is from the Pharaonic family, although the adopted son is a real historical person, and that the exodus Jews (descended from the patriarchs, and not "from a small tribe of the Bronze Age") from Egypt really was. Egyptology also made it possible to find written information (not to mention material) about the biblical patriarchs, for example, about Joseph (Tsantsaf) - the ruler of Egypt.

Isn't it time for scientists, in the spirit of true science, to change their approach to ancient history and make it reliable and serious, and not like "biology" restoring an entire organism from several bones? Namely: rely on true reasoned facts!

And in conclusion, it should be noted that the Bible as a historical document is still right and can be trusted !!!
