   We live in a world where all concepts are turned on their heads. Almost every person prefers to think that there is no God (but we know that this is madness), and that man is his own god, and should be glorified, and he can do whatever he wants. We see the results: how terrible the world we live in is!

   It is not easy to live in such a world and among such people for a person who believes in God, and not only believes, but also does what God told him to do. Such a person is an object of ridicule and also hatred.

   Let's talk, despite this, how much better it is to be a believer and not an atheist, namely one who believes in the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments.

   Such a person is not weak, as they think, but strong. He is also brave because he is not afraid of many of the things that are scary to modern man. He is not afraid of death and poverty and does not feel lonely.

   He is healthier, since the health of the body depends on the health of the soul. He has no problems with money because he knows how to be physically healthy and earn money, he eats simpler and healthier food and does not spend huge amounts of money on alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. He also has funds because he is not lazy and loves to work.

   And family relationships among believers are better, because members of believing families love each other very much. How wonderful the relationship between husband and wife and between parents and children can be in such families !

   A believer, as we said, is not afraid. He only has the fear of God. In the original Hebrew of the Old Testament there are two completely different words: “pahad“ (simply fear) and “yera“ (sacred awe), and they are not the same thing. The fear of God is something completely special; it is, as Solomon said in his parables, hatred of evil. We do not believe in a God who loves to punish, but in a LOVING God, capable of giving people all the most valuable and beautiful things that he has, and first of all, this is the Son of God given by Him - Jesus Christ !

   What is the biggest difference between an atheist and a believer ? Future ! There is NO future for an atheist, only silence and darkness in the end for the one who “does what he wants.” A believer has not only blessings now, but also ETERNAL JOY in the new world, without death, without suffering, together with God, not only now, but FOREVER !!!
